The Swiss manufactured Bergeon spring bar tool is definitely one of the very best tools for changing watchstraps and watch strap accessories. I've used several other spring bar tools, some cheaper as well as several of the more expensive designs and can honestly say I have yet to find a better tool for changing a watchstrap or bracelet quickly, conveniently and with minimum fuss.

The 6767 is supplied with two threaded hardened stainless steel tips, one forked for compressing spring bars in 'blind hole' type case lugs and the other a straight pin for external access lug designs (ie. watch case lugs with holes on the outside through which you can compress the spring bars). **TSS recommends the 6767 (standard fork) for changing leather straps and the 6767 fine tip should be purchased separately by clicking here for compressing spring bars in steel bracelets with restricted access to the spring bar end.


***Please note - the straight pin end should not be used to drive out bracelet link securing pins as these are usually a very tight pressed fit and the pin is not designed to withstand the impact pressure required to shift them. If you need to remove metal bracelet links for shortening purposes you should use a tool designed specifically for this task - TSS does not stock such a tool at this time although they are easily found elsewhere on the internet.
