All Watchworx TSS deployment / deployant buckles and clasps are manufactured using high grade 316L stainless steel and are compatible for use with the vast majority of leather watchstraps - please read the sizing and compatibility information at the bottom of this page.
Deployment Clasp Advantages
a) Once fitted there is significantly less abrasion and scuffing applied to your watch strap by pulling/tugging it through a standard buckle each time you take off or put on your watch.
b) A good quality leather watchstrap fitted with a deploymnent (deployant) clasp will retain its original appearance significantly longer than a strap fitted with a standard buckle.
c) Deployment clasps/buckles are convenient to use, simple to fit and fully adjustable.
d) Deployment buckles can be transferred to another compatible strap as and when required - *please read deployment compatibility information at the bottom of this page.

Deployment clasp compatibility guide
If you wish to purchase and use a deployment clasp instead of using the standard buckle supplied with your watchstrap please note the following buckle end dimension (seen below) should match that of the strap you are buying.
Measure this distance (the standard buckle has been romoved in the illustration seen below).
The degree that different watchstraps taper, ie. the difference in width between where the strap attaches to your watch and the width at the buckle end can vary.
As a general guide most (but not all) watchstraps taper by approximately 2mm at the buckle end, ie. - a 20mm watchstrap will most commonly require an 18mm deployment clasp.
If the watchstrap you are purchasing states that it is a 'non tapering' design in the product description this indicates that any deployment buckle ordered should be the same width as the case fitting size, ie. a 20mm 'non tapering' strap will require a 20mm deployment clasp.
To ensure correct fitting of your deployment clasp you should check that any watchstrap / deployment combination purchased will be compatible - please refer to the illustration above.
