Superior quality genuine leather watchstrap. Contemporary design and subtle detailing give the M16 a sporty edge well suited to partnering anything from a vintage sports design through to a cutting edge chrono. Superior remborde construction. *Specially treated water resistant leather. Heavy padding (approx. 5mm at the shoulder). Heavy duty multi-strand 'rot-proof' thread is used throughout - this is one seriously built and highly durable watchstrap capable of withstanding heavy duty use. These special edition M16s come with custom fitted high quality butterfly type stainless steel deployment buckles. The M16 is also fully leather lined and has a distinctive matt / low sheen look and finish. The Black version has subtle silver grey contrast stitching while the Brown and Tan straps both have champagne colour contrast stitching (a distinctive and welcome change from the less inspiring white).

Equal or in many cases superior to the majority of aftermarket replacement watchstraps of similar design (think Hirsch, Bros, Sirtoli, DeBeer etc.) and in my humble opinion matches the construction standards set by many of the significantly more expensive Swiss branded 'oem' straps (think Breitling, Rolex, Tag Heuer & Omega).

*No corners have been cut in the quality control, construction or testing departments during the manufacturing process. Production samples of these straps are comprehensively 'destruction' tested by the manufacturer. Tests include being immersed in water continuously for 24 hours to check that the leather does not swell and the adhesive used is not affected by water absorption . They are also sauna tested to ensure that these watchstraps' can withstand the heat and steam typically encountered in sauna conditions and tropical climates.

**While testing is exhaustive and the above might lead you to think otherwise - the M16 should not be considered 'waterproof' and TSS would not recommend this strap if you intend to regularly wear it while swimming, bathing or showering. Destruction testing is, as the term suggests - destructive. The above tests are undertaken to determine the durability of the materials and construction techniques used and for quality control purposes in assessing 'real world' performance under extreme laboratory conditions ( just thought you should know that . . . )
